
Barkici Village in Minna, Niger State, Nigeria, recently welcomed a medical outreach organized by members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Students’ Association as part of the 41st Annual Higher Institution Convention.


The outreach, which commenced at 9 AM, began with a courtesy visit to the village chief, Mai Angua Barkici, Alhaji Garba. The chief warmly received the team, commending their dedication to improving the health and well-being of the villagers.

Throughout the day, villagers were registered, examined, and provided with essential medical care. Over 150 residents, including children, youth, and the elderly, received treatment.
One beneficiary, after receiving medical attention, shared his experience, stating that his checkup results revealed concerning health figures. He expressed gratitude for the timely care provided, noting, “In all my years in this village, we’ve never had such a medical outreach.”

Many other beneficiaries echoed similar sentiments during interviews, describing the outreach as both timely and life-changing.
This initiative is part of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Students’ Association’s ongoing commitment to community service and improving healthcare access in rural areas.
