The Federal University of Technology Minna Chief Security Officer welcomes 17-Member Delegates of AMSA Nigeria

On October 7, 2024, following the Zuhr prayers at 1:36 PM, AMSA Nigeria delegates visited the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA), as part of the 41st Annual Higher Institution Convention (FUTMINNA’24). The meeting commenced with opening remarks by the AMSA Vice President, Administration, who introduced the association, its mission, and objectives. The floor was then opened for introductions, led by AMSA President Hafiz Sulaiman Abd.Qudus, followed by the rest of the delegation.

In his speech, the President expressed gratitude to Allah for His blessings and extended thanks to the CSO for his dedicated service to the university and society. He outlined the purpose of the visit, which led to discussions on the upcoming AHIC event.

The CSO, in his response, thanked the AMSA delegates and expressed his pleasure at meeting them. He commended the members of AMSA FUTMINNA for being exemplary ambassadors of the association, noting that their conduct reflected positively on AMSA Nigeria as a whole. He concluded his remarks with appreciation for the visit.

Further comments were made by Mr. Alawode Luqman, the CSO’s Secretary and a member of the Jama’at. He highlighted the importance of the security unit and the strong connection between AMSA and security awareness. He also personally invited the CSO to attend the AHIC Symposium on Saturday.

The meeting concluded with prayers led by the Vice President, followed by the presentation of gifts and a group photo to mark the occasion.
