On October 7, 2024, at 12:30 PM, AMSA Nigeria delegates were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Sciences in the faculty boardroom as part of the 41st Annual Higher Institution Convention (FUTMINNA’24). After introductions, AMSA President Hafiz Sulaiman Abd.Qudus delivered a speech expressing gratitude to the Dean, outlining the objectives of AMSA, and explaining the purpose of the visit.
In his response, the Dean praised the dynamic nature of AMSA, commending the association and the wider Jama’at for their positive contributions. He acknowledged the MKAN state Qaid’s efforts in organizing impactful activities on campus and lauded AMSA members for their dedication to education amidst the prevailing “School na scam” narrative among youths. The Dean expressed his delight at their commitment to the pursuit of knowledge and appreciated the honor extended to him by AMSA.
He further advised the delegates to remain composed and focused, even when faced with provocation, encouraging them not to be deterred by challenges. The meeting concluded at 12:46 PM with closing remarks and a prayer by the AMSA President. The session was rounded off with a group photograph, marking a memorable end to the visit.
